While both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, I have encountered many people who decide not to hire an attorney immediately following their arrest but rather to wait until their first court date to seek counsel.  Whether it is the day before their arraignment or the day after, some people choose to "wait and see" what happens before deciding that they should hire an attorney.

A DUI arrest does not have to result in a DUI conviction. Do not resolve a DUI charge before consulting with an experienced DUI attorney. Depending on the facts of your case, you may have defenses available to you that you are not even aware of.
